how do i do it - what do i use and should i download a crack then when i put all the game files instead of putting the original .exe file should i put in the crack?

Ho[pefully you have a cd writer that can copy in raw mode, if so use clone cd to make the copy & enable fast error skip. works perfectly without patching.

If the copy not work use a Crack from GCW:

Install the Game Full Installation
You must put the Crack in the Installationdirectory Replace the original SIMS.EXE executable with the one from Patch, or Execute the CRACK.EXE to apply the Fixed Executable in the Installtiondirectory

Is it just me or do all the cracks available for Livin It Large remove the mouse cursor when you point at an object to do something to it?
i.e. The options appear around the characters face, but the cursor disappears so you have to carefully shift the mouse about until you get it to point at what you want to.
