Sims LL - fixed exe vanishing mouse pointer...PLEASE HELP!!!
 

My cdrom recently bit the dust and I can no longer play the Sims Livin' Large. I've tried using the fixed exe from gamecopyworld and the game loads fine without the cd. Problem is, whenever a popup window or the family screen comes up the mouse pointer vanishes. Does anyone know how to fix this? I miss my game!! Thanx in advance for your time and help. If there's anything I can do for you let me know.

During the game install not all files are copied from cd.
It is the absence of these missing files, which are still on cd, that cause this.

Is there any way to resolve this problem? Maybe find out which files are missing?

Put your cd in cdrom and compare!
Guess that means you will need to get a new cdrom doesn't it?
