Copying Cracks to CD

I've made a backup copy of Combat Flight Simulator 2, which was my very first try at all of this. I downloaded the crack and installed it to the game directory on the harddrive, which works fine. But the question I have is: How can I copy the crack to the CD? I mean if I decide to uninstall this game does that mean I have to download the crack again? Thanks in advance to any inputs on this.

Just copy all the files from your cd to a temp directory, add a directory with the crack and then burn the contents of temp directory, using same cd label as original cd, to a new cd.
It may be possible to actually replace the original exe with the cracked one first. This way it will install with the crack already there.

This won't work with a copy protected CD. I think what this guy is asking is "Can you replace a file (cracked EXE) in an ISO, or somehow not close the CD (after creating it from an ISO), then replace a file before closing it".

If anyone know if this is possible, email me also with a reply. It sure would be nice to be able to include the crack on the actual backup CD.

TIA

scottyb, of course that will work for a protected cd!
If the protection stops you playing because of the exe then it does not matter at all!
Just do the installation and then copy the crack from the cd - it will work fine then.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE A CRACK THEN THERE IS NO REASON TO ATTEMPT ANY CLEVER COPYING METHODS!

Isn't the purpose of creating an ISO to record blank/bad sectors that copying does not? Copying many CDs won't work without those sectors, right?

Do I have to repeat myself?

Obviously!

HI!
Maybe I'm stupid, but I've got the same Problem as MarkRat! I've downloaded The crack for Superbike 2001 (German) and then I followed the CD-Copy Instructions! But it doesn't work! The Instructions discribes it this way:
-COPY with BlinRead to a TempDir
-REPLACE the SBK2001.exe with the one from the Executable Archive
-BURN the contents of TempDir
After coping the CD I've tried to replace the exe but I can't. I can't open the Image file that was created from BlindRead! Is it necessary to open it or can I relpace the exe in an other way?!?
Please help me because I'm a bloody newbie and I will not loose the battle against my damend burner!
