cant make backups of the sims and diablo 2
 

i have tried to make a copy of the sims and i get everything but the graphics. can someone please help. with diablo 2, i get the install disc copied but thats all. i keep getting an error message. what can i do to fix these problems.

With the simme its a safedisk cd are you using clone or are you patching, cause i have backed it up with clone using fast error skip and it was fine.As with diablo 2 idont know what protection it is but try something simple like a slower burn on better media you never know. hope this helps.

Copy Diablo 2
 

Diablo 2 using the new version of Securom. You need to have a burner that is capable of reading SubChannel Data and Audio Track. Download CloneCD and write an image to HD and then burn it, also using CloneCD. You need to select "Read SubChannel Data from Data Track" and "Read SubChannel Data from Audio Tracks" when you write the image. If that doesn't work (maybe because of the burner) then you still have a burned CD with the original image on it. You then need to install Daemon's Tools and choose SecuRom Emulation and let it stays there in your System Tray. Everything works good from then. Good luck!!
