Sucsessfuly copy of Red Alert 2.
Hey.
I used CloneCd V2.8.3.1. To read: I had max read speed on, and Read SubChannel Data/Audio from Data Tracks on. I have a Plextor PX-40TS (40x) To Write: I had Don't Repair SubChannel Data on, and RAW DAO on Burned at max speed (8x) I have a Plextwriter PX-W8220T 8x/2x/20x. Worked Great for me! - Stonga. |
Did you use a CDRW disc first?and of so did it work. I have tried copying ti with Clone CD but when I try to run it the CDrom cant read the disc.
I have been trying for ages so any help would be welcome. - just e-mail me...please. |
I copied it also! I have a TDK VeloCD 12-10-32. I use the same version of CloneCD you did. I used the default settings which is RAW DAO. Burn proof and Close Session are the only things checked. I had to select overburn because I used a 74min CD but it worked great:)

Hallo zusammen,
Does it work on other CD-ROMs or just the one you made it on? I made a copy on my Plexi, but it only works on the Plexi.

Mine only works on my burner (TDK). I've tried about 4 different combos and all work on my burner but not my reader:(

First of all good work on the back-up!! :)
If any of you have made copies that can only be used via your cdwriter that means that your writer is not full compatible -OR- the cd's that you are are not accepting the image correctly... -OR- both..there are other factors but it seems like you have looked at them already. Remember..the quality of the CD/R or CD/RW that you are using are just as important as the type of drive that you are using. I have had 100% success with Memorex 700mb CD/R's and /RW's. Also, if you are using CloneCd and your drive says that it is not compatible with 700mb drives disregard that information..it is the program that came with your drive that is not compatible..not your drive!!! :) Happy New Year!!
