Help buffer underrun during NOLF Back up burn
 

I have two programs to burn Adaptec Easy CD - Creator 4 and Nero Burner 5 but I couldn't copy No One Lives Forever as it said their might be a buffer underrun. I have wastd many disks. It says that both drives are connected to the same IDE Ribbon and I was wandering if I bought another cable and connected it up would it work. Also if so how would I do it. Thanks very Much.

For a basic disc copying program Nero is OK. Nothing Adaptec makes can copy protected games under any circumstances. You will need to download either clonecd or blindsuite. Either one of these programs are capable of backing-up ANY game. The only problem you might encounter is that your cdwriter is not capable of completing the task. Recently we have found that CloneCD requires alot from your hardware and many cdwriters just cannot do it. Blindsuite on the other hand is a good alternative. My opinion is to try CloneCD out and if it works that's all you will ever need.
