Mech4-no-cd patch not working--requires CD#2

Mech4-no-cd patch not working--requires CD#2 however CD loads faster. Looks like it looks for cd #1 and then CD #2 before it will load the game--went back to the original Mech4 EXE for now. anyone working on a working mech4 no-cd patch?
