HELP! Can't get Hitman "no-cd" patch to work

I installed the fixed .exe in the game directory replacing the original .exe file. The game doesn't even launch without the cd in. Any suggestions??????

The patches I get here have always been good so I'm thinking it's something I'm missing and not a bad patch.

HELP!!!! ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Actually i dont belive it is a correct crack.. it was just copied from the "warez" version of the game. (as you can tell from the nfo file included)

Btw, if you havent guessed.. It didn't work for me either. :)

Cheers!

Is anyone aware of a working no-cd patch then since this one apparently is bad?

Thanks.

Your right about the file being from the warez version. Thing is with that version there is a setup.bat file that adds info to the registry. When you run Hitman for the first time the exe passes off to the setup.exe file to.. well.. setup the graphics and what not. I've gotten the file to work with my copy, but only after I used the original the first time, then the copy after that. Of course, I still needed the CD in the drive to play... oh well...

Have the same problem after installing and starting from the original. I've also copied the original cd but got the same errormessage "No CD blablabla..."
