Anyone have a WORKING crack for RA2????
 

I am only looking for a working crack for a fully functional back up copy of Red Alert 2. I do NOT want to burn a 1:1 copy and have to play it with the burner drive. Of course, as everyone knows by now the crack on GCW does not work.
Running the Bat file you WILL get the message that ACCESS DENIED and DUPLICATE FILE EXISTS....and of course it finishes with DELETE THE BAT AND BURN AN IMAGE. (IT DON'T WORK).
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it does work, BUT NOT as instructions!!
Here is how I did it,
Extract the relevant files into the Setup folder, cut the original SETUP and place it somewhere safe (just in case), make a copy of the setup you extracted i.e setup_allied... Make a copy of it in the SETUP folder..Then use the .bat file...
Thats it...

Hey Goony - how about explaining that a second time, yet this time, in english!!!

Get the RA2 crack from GCW.. Copy contents of CD to a Temp folder,extract the crack files..Move them into the SETUP folder of the TEMP folder holding the CD contents...Remove the original SETUP file and back it up ( just in case)..Make a copy of the cracked setup file (ie setup_allied) and then use the crack.bat file
Clear enuff for you!!

i had that error but the way i got rid of it was because my setup.exe was read only after transferring it from my cd

Thanks for the info on the read only. I unchecked the read only from the setup.exe file and ran the .bat file and no errors. I'm burning the backup cd now, so I have not tried to install from the back up yet but I'm sure it'll work.
