Help With PS-X-Change Needed
 

I have a Playstation SCPH-1001. I just got a ps-x-change and installed the spring. The instructions say that after I boot, I should see "remove disc" but all I get is "insert Playstation CDROM" The backup dist doesent work. I know that it could be the burn but that missing "remove disc" doesent seem right. Any help appresiated. Thanks.

A original psx-change is the only boot disc that will boot games WITHOUT a modchip. If you have a BACKUP psx-change then you will need a modchip for it to load.

This IS an original purchased disk.

get an internal mod chip, less trouble

did yu install the spring or PVC tab?

In order for the disk to work the system must think the lid is always closed, if it's going to the Playstation CD ROM screen either the lid sensor isn't being pressed or you have a bad disk and need to return it.
