backed up harry potter pal version plays fine till it gets to 89% then goes back to the start any ideas ?

What program are u using to copy it? Clonecd, cdrwin, nero etc. Also what method are u using i.e. read 2 hard disk then burn 2 cdr or cdrom 2 cdr on the fly? more info is required!

clone to hard disc and then cd-r

i used clony with clone and it is perfect

Is your burner 100% compatible with clonecd? When u were reading the game to hard disk did u check 'read sub-code audio & data'? and then when u burnt the image 2 disk did u check 'write sub-code audio & data uncorrected', 'always close last session'? if u have done all of this and your burner is compatible then u should have a 1:1 copy regardless of protection if there is any!

Ans to Arnie.. Try cdrwin and download the utility "import game light" make a cdr and run it first it can turn off the protection for modchips and detect copies follow directions using l1 l2 l3 l4 on your contoller.
