k..I am completely new at this..and am a little confused..i am about to get a mod Chip tomorrow because..well ...gotta check if my backups work..hehe..i made one so far of Final Fantasy V..so i have to see if it works.i tried the bootup method with my ps but that didnt work..plus it was the newwer Dual shock one..k..I copied in RAW but do i have to burn in RAW..i seen that in the tutorial it shows RAW checked..but i cant burn in it..but burnt without it...does anyone know where there are shared backups hehe..on the net..as i said i am right new..juz did this last night..and searched and read alot of stuff..umm..i have a Sony IDE Recordable Rewritable..Multi read..dont know the specs..but it works compared to the other one we have..the other one kept speeding up and slowing down then repeated..
Any suggestions..any patch help..anything can help..i dont know if it is a good patch...bad patch..i know where to find them..umm...i am using CDRWIN and it seems to be alright...:) but i'll check here if u have any info for me it's all good i dont knowtoo much of what i am exactly asking because it's my first time but any help would be appreciated..thanks.

k..one thing i am lost on is where the patches are right..well i see like..11 Final Fantasy 9 patches..how do i know which bin or umm..cue file to use them for? and do i use them all or?

I'll just anmswer the RAW question and add that FF9 patches for PAL might be found (I haven't checked) on www.ps2ownz.com or www.megagames.com.

You don't check RAW on burn witrh CDRWin if you've got a CUE file. This contains all the parameters drawn from the read phase needed to burn properly.
