psx the italian job (cant copy )protected
 

can anyone help with this game as this game is heavily protected and cant copy with any program

so can someone mail me a patch or tell me protection fix needed asap

am using clone cd plex 12/10/32 and still had two coasters m8

I know. On mine I get up to the Loading screen and it just stops.

SEE MY POST GUYS.....I MANAGED TO MAKE A WORKING BACK UP WITHOUT PATCHING IT.....I THINK ITS LIBCRYPT PROTECTED BUT COULD BE WRONG.

I found how to do it.
All you need is CloneCD, a compatible Writer, 600-700 hd space and Copy Protection Detector from CD Media World.
It tells you exactly what protection in the CPD and how to do It!!
Have fun...

What you will need is CDR WIN and then the patch from ####://www.psxfreak.com/english.htm
You will also need a PPF Patch Engines you will find this at ####://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_ppf.shtml
it will also tell you what to do ok

Tried this already. I am guessing that you can only copy using clone cd and turning off sub code repair. cdrwin+'KAL'patch did not work

The italian job is protected by Libcrypt. How ever saying that imanaged to copy it using cdrwin and the protection fix that is avaible on this site.

Try this it worked for me
Use CloneCD with these settings

These Settings Are For Reading

Tick read subchannel data
Tick read subchannel Audio
Tick Fast Error Skip
And leave rest unticked
Read at max of 4x

These Settings are for writing

Tick dont repair subchannel data
Tick Close last session
write at any speed

Nice one markw96, CDRwin and the Kal-tijc worked perfectly using the patch-o-matic patch engine both from this site as you suggested. Burnt at 4X Happy kids...

Excuse my english but I tried to copy the spanish version with the kal patch and doesn't work.
If anyone know another patch (EURO) or a specially spanish patch, i'm interested.

Hello you can get a patch off gamecopyworld just click on psx patches and it will redirect you and download the ppf down ,then burn cd to image file open patching tool do as it says and then burn patched image cya steven

if you are going to put the settings down for cd clone make sure they are right settings NEVER TICK FAST SKIP ERRORS ON PSX GAMES AS THERE ARE NO ERRORS PSX GAMES UNLESS IT IS DAMAGE IN SOMEWAY PLUS CD CLONE IS ONLY 100% COMPATIBLE WITH A FEW WRITERS IT AS TO BE 100% COMPATIBLE TO COPY PROTECTED PSX GAMES
