play vcd's
 

i have ###ne, u know the new version of playstation, and i want to know if i can play vcd's without opening my ###ne, and voiding the warranty. is there a way to do this?

I dont believe there is!

The original PSX has a serial I/O port on the back that you can attach a gadget to play VCD's but the PS1 does not have this port.

spooky: i think there is a gadget which plays vcd's now on a ps1 but i think you need a mod chip to play them well you do if they are on cdr's i don't know how it work but i went to a computer fair and there was a ps1 playing vcd's it was the 1st time i was one playing vcd's i don't know where you can buy them (a bit of useless info for you LOL)

just seen one on here http://www.hk-ems.com/ps/ its half way down the page but 3 wires needed to be solder

i wouldnt waste money on any kind of vcd soft or hardware for ###ne/psx. all iheard about is that the replay of the movies is crap coz of the low bitrate.
