EA Patching instructions using CloneCD?
 

I have an Sbox USB Mod, and I would like to burn EA games like Madden 2001. I have instructions on how to do this using CDRWin, but I use CloneCD. I have been successful burning other games, but this is my first attempt with an EA game which needs to be patched. Can anyone help? Thanks!

1 Rename the IMG file from CloneCD to *.BIN
2 Apply the patches to the BIN file
3 Rename the BINB file back to *.IMG
4 Burn back with CloneCD

I hope I've understood you correctly.

i used clonecd v.3.1.1.0 to back up madden and it works fine with the region x boot disk. I did try with an old version of clone cd though and it couldnt read it, so try a newer version.

It can be copyed without patching with clone cd and a 100% compatable burner and a internal modchip. However If you have a usb modchip and wish to copy it with clone cd then Charlie's advise applies.
