Is the Yamaha CRW2100EZ good for making PSX backups

i need to know before i get one. does anyone have any experience with the yamaha CRW2100EZ? and how well does it burn PSX games

I'm not too sure about the yami crw but if I were you I'd go for the Plextor with Burnproof. This stands for Buffer Under Run proof and it will prevent you from burning coasters cause it has intelligent buffers inside that manage the burn process. I've got the 12/10/32a but there are some later models which are a bit faster and they support CloneCD. Good buy...........but its up to you in the end.

Hi,

Have you looked at other writers??? i use a HP 8200i writer and its been brilliant its compatible with CLONE CD and CDR-Win so making backups is a breeze. I also have a LG 8080 Writer in my PC @ work which has also been very good, also compatible with CLONE CD and CDR-Win

Like Toaster says its your choice at the end of the day, just have a look at what else is avaliable before you purchase the Yammy.

Cheers

Dal
