TOCA World touring cars
 

Hi i am trying to back up a copy of TOCA World touring cars but not having any luck.

I am using Nero or CloneCD. A Traxdata burner

After backing up and playing it just freezes at the opening screen. Do i need to get a patch, if so which one and what do i have to do to use it.

Yes there is a protection patch for this one (PAL) but firstly is CloneCD 100% compatible with your burner, can you select all the options?

As your having trouble with it then i think not or you are using the wrong settings..... in case of the later the these are the settings to use....

READ:-Read subchannel data from data track = ON
Read subchannel data from audio tracks = ON
Leave all the rest unchecked.
WRITE:-Don't repair subchannel data = ON
Always close last session = ON
Leave all the rest unchecked.

If your burner is not compatable then i recommend you download the evaluation version of CDRWin, the patch and PPF-O-Matic from www.megagames.com, you will also find instructions for using CDRWin and PPF-O-Matic there!

Non of the Traxdata burners listed at http://www.elaborate-bytes.com/ are anywhere compatible enough to copy protected PSX.

i have bakedup toca once usingclonecd (fully compatible) & once with a patch and both work fine if your not fully compat with clone patch it
