ps2 jap and ntsc games
 

if i used an action replay 2 for my ps2 will it play original jap and ntsc ps2 games?

i'm asking because you can play import dreamcast games using this swap method.

You will need to modchip your PS2 and use the appropriate (to the mod chip) original game to boot before swapping to the Jap/US game. The NTSC game will have to be a backup, not an original. Use CDR-WIN to make the copy using default settings, copying first to hard disk then, after patching, burning back to CD. Go to www.megagames.com to see what PAL patches you might need and the appropriate patcher (like Universal Patcher) or buy an NTSC to PAL convertor fromMaplins for playing NTSC games on your PAL TV.
