EA NHL 2001 boot method? not working...Please help
 

I have sucessfully burned NHL 2001 reading with CDRWin and writing with Fireburner. I have tried the hold reset button and booting gameshark v1.4 then letting go of button after hitting ####t game without codes, however my CD tray never opens by itself so i open it with eject button, swap disk and hit o-L2-R2....and i doing something wrong here? or is there another method. I have US PS2 version 4 and USB neokey2. Thanx in advance

The EA boot sequence will not work with a neo-key. Some EA games will boot up but most will not.

Thanx for responding. I just needed to confirm this so i didn't think i was crazy. Does the EA method work with the internal neochip?
