I must have down loaded every burner there is. I laugh when I read messages just like this one! You cant tell me you just find a compatible burner and go cause I've tried tem all. There is something I'm missing! i get up to 80% on all programs then nothing. I wait for hours because people say its up to 4 hrs to read. I get error messages that people say ignore, but I still after 2 weeks have not even burnt a copy of .... lets say toy story 2. Can some explain step by step how to do it? I've been to other sights to gather info but the more I look the more confused I get. I dont even have a mod chip yet I just want to burn my first CD. Thanking someone in Advance

Do please get a Mod Chip or else all your efforts will be in vain.

The advice on these boards is to use CDR-WIN or CLONE CD. So start there (I use CDR-WIN). Then, read the CD-Writer compatibility notices associated with your software. Next read this board to get the settings for, say, CDR-WIN. The defaults worked for me. Many people stage the copy via the hard disk so that they can apply a PAL patch before burning the file back to CD. Again, this forum has full details. Do it by the book and it works all the time.
