Do I need a patch to make a playable copy of "winning eleven 5"?
I got PS2 moded with neo2.2
ActionReplay2 and CloneCD
I've made a straight copy..,did'nt work

He said it didn't wotk - but that might be a local problem. Anyway, search the PSX forum on the word "Winning" and a few items will appear that you could find useful

I copied the Jap version of WE5 with CloneCD and it worked on the same kit that you've got.

I also used CDRWin and patched it with the Jap2ENG patch for English texts. That worked too.

So what copying kit have you got? Or have you now solved the problem?

Now I know it's you - I'm glad you've got WE5 workng on your PAL PS2. For the benefit of others, it's a backup of his JAP original with the 100% English patch.
