need help with backup programs
 

I am using a Smart and Friendly cd-rw2224 and I have cdrwin,
nero 5, and easy cd-creator 4. I have tried backing up some games and so far everything stops at the startup logo. Are there any special settings I need to back up the games? where can I find out if my burner is compatible with these programs at all? which program is best to use?

Forget any Adaptec software you have as this is crap for backing up PSX titles.

I believe the "Smart and Friendly" burners to be Phillips based machines (correct me if i'm wrong!), and are not the best for making PSX backups.

There is a solution that has been posted a few times on this forum and if you search for "freecom" you should find it quite quickly.
