Can HP8100 burn psx backups?
 

If it is possible, what software should i use? Or am i out of luck?

You have as me and i use CDRWin to create the image then then burn, dont bother with CloneCD as the HP8100 is not and never will be supported.

Use a read speed of 4x for audio and data and a write speed of 2x, and make sure that the RAW box is #####ed.

Media shouldn't cause you any problem's as i have used TDK, Sony, Pioneer, Memorex and even the realy cheap one's and never had any trouble.

I USED TO HAVE AN 8100i AND I USED TO USE THE FOLLOWING WITH IT - WINONCD,CDRWIN,NERO & DISC JUGGLER. ALL WORKED FINE. (CDRWIN & DISC JUGGLER RAW MODE)
