when it comes to DVDr...forget it man....

I've used it and I regretted getting it in the first place, i've since changed to an internal mod and it plays all my cds and dvdr perfectly... True that i still need to swap, but its pretty simple

Cheers Mate

Would you be so kind as to detail your DVD-R boot procedure complete with versions of software and PS2. (Serial and other model data)

Thanks

Hi Charlie, I've acutally posted a new topic called "something to share", maybe you can take a look there, I've included my booting procedure there. Serial No I've no ideal now, its at home mate, I'll check it out when I home, But its definately a PAL version 5 PS2 without doubt, SCH30004R. I'm using a AR 1.9 :( (Man I got to do away with my AR version 2 which i got with my sbox- what a waste).

Thanks Jack.

Could you just check that on the right hand end of the front horizontal edge of the expansion bay there should be a screw if it's a v5.

This is not to be confused with the indented screw where the edge turns into the PS2.

Look forward to hearing from you.
