Patches and Trainers
 

First could you please tell me the differance between a patch and a trainer.
Next do you kow if rainbow 6 rogue spear and submarine commander reqire any.

OK, patches come in three forms or even a mixture.

1, Protection fix/patch - These are obviously remove the copyright protection or the mod chip detection protection.

2, Ntsc/Pal patch/selector - These patches enable you to play backup imports on you psx.

3, Trainers - These give you a selection of cheats at the beginning of the game usually through a menu system.

To be able to answere your question about Rainbow 6 then i would need to know which version you are trying to backup, but as far as i am aware there is no protection on these games.
