Software is important, but the make and model of burner is more important if you want a useable answer.

I agree, a burner is important to burning PS1 games. If your burner and reader is good at RAW images, then you should be fine. The best software that I have used is clone CD. I just ##### all the settings for read and write excpet for the simulation writing. Before you use clone CD though, make sure your burner/writer is compatible by #####ing their help file. Hope this helps!!!

yes.I know but only my burner supports raw and my reader doesn`t because ireally want to know how to burn a psx game i tryied burning street fighter ex 2 plus with clone cd with these option
read speed 1x
Read subchannel data from data tracks
then i let my burner read the cd and i wrote to blank cd with these options
write speed 1x
don`t repaire subchannel data
and then i burned it with my burner

plz can you tell me how to burn protected with my burner hp 9100 series.

Hey.....if you have a Hp writer....then your fine. Just use your Cd-Writer to read the disc and burn. This way, you won't have to go through your cheap CD-Rom. Your Cd-writer should be able to read RAw images and burning wouldn't be a problem for you. Just leave the settings you have now, and you can burn protected games too. Got anymore questions, just post your reply agian. Glad to help!!!

Firstly ditch the black cdr's as the are all turd for PSX backups. try TDK, Sony or Verbatum.

Try these settings for Clonecd.

READ:-Read subchannel data from data track = ON
Read subchannel data from audio tracks = ON
Leave all the rest uncheked.
WRITE:-Don't repair subchannel data = ON
Always close last session = ON
Leave all the rest un#####ed.

Keep the read and wright speeds low at first.

If you are still experiencing problems with the backups then it could be down to your psx laser needing adjustment.

Let us know how you get on.
