how to remove psx patch

I am from Seattle, Washington USA and I have tried to make copies of some psx games, but when I put them in my NTSC console, it starts okay, but then the picture on my television screen starts rolling. You can see through the rolling that the game copied okay, but I can't get the rolling to stop. What is causing this? So far I have made 3 coasters trying to copy Formula 1 2000, Libero Grande and Submarine Commander. Please help me out with this problem.

it sound like the game is a pal so you will need to patch it with a pal to ntsc (but if im not mistaken you will need to make your own patch cause there are none its not hard to make) or if the game is a ntsc game did you patch it cause you could of use the wrong patch

As backitup mentioned the games you are trying to back up are probably PAL versions and the rolling picture is a dead give away!

Try looking at www.pal4u2000.com for a program with which you can make your own PAL to NTSC convertion patch strangley enough called "PAL4U2000".

psxcopyworld has 2 awesome utilities you can download. Import Player and Xploder.

For playing import games that cause a rolling screen. select import player at the menu
When Import Player screen show up open lid, insert import game CD and select START. If
import game fails to load try this method: Select START but put in Xploder instead of
the game cd. The screen should roll, wait a few seconds and press X, wait until you see
Xploder logo rolling and hit X again. Insert import game CD, hit X again. Game should
start to load and screen should stop rolling.

Xploder is a PAL program but you can get it to stop rolling if you can find the custom
options/video mode options ant hit X. I am going to post more info about Xploder in a
new post.

Yes its absolutly a PAL game. Your TV may support PAL by doing this: Go in the menu for the and change the system source to PAL. If your TV not supporting this you need to download some of those converters.
If you just bought a RGB-cable it could be this making the problem. The solution is almost as above. But now you choose the port where you PSX is plugged to your TV instead. Could be something like ext-1, ext-2, ext-1 rgb or anything like that.

Thank you so very much for the responses and help you have given me so far. I tried the import player, burned it to a cd, put it in console, selected ntsc, then put in game and click start. Nothing, did not work. I have the file Xploder, but have not tried that one yet. I will once I am done writing this.
I #####ed all the settings on our television and there is not a option for PAL. We have it connected to the plugs in the front of our television, video input, audio left and right input.
I do have a question, our playstation has a stealth mod-chip installed. Isn't that chip suppose to stop this from happening? If it is, then I would like to write the company we purchased it from. Could you give any help with this question?
Again thanks for everthing. Really appreciate it.
