Newbie needs help w/Toy Story 2 backup!?!
 

Hello everyone, I tried making a backup of my son's Toy Story 2 since he is only 4 and beats the crap out of his stuff. Anyways, I tried using CD Clone and CDWIN and niether one worked. Yes I do have a mod chip in my psx, but I only get the opening screen of the cd and then it goes to memory or cd player. Please help!

i made a bakup of t/story 2 with clone cd it's pal version and it is ok try reading and writing at 1 or 2 speed if that does'nt work put a shout out for warlock or spooky they are good people for helping with problems

use cd clone with these settings
read:
sudchannel data from data yes
sudchannel data from audio yes
all the rest no
write:
don't repair data yes
allways close yes
all the rest no
the US ntsc is protected and pal is unprotected
(BUT REMEMBER CD CLONE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ALL WRITER ONLY A FEW)

If your burner is'nt compatable with CDClone then try CDRWin.

Make sure the RAW box is #####ed and leave all other settings as default!

To start with, set the read speed to 4x for audio and data and the write speed to 2x.

Always create an image file on your hard drive and then burn as the second process.

As backitup mentioned, no patch required for the PAL version but the NTSC version does need one.
