nOOb 2 PSX burning need help!
 

OK, today, i burned my first playstation disk. It was just the gameshark on cd that comes from this site. Now, i've burned DC games and have never had trouble with them. I don't quite understand how to get PSX games to work without a mod-chip. I do know that you can hold down the button so the door can stay open, but i got nothing else besides old swap tricks. i can't get it to load even then. can it be done without a mod-chip!? oh yeah. this is one of the original psx's so it's still got it ports on the back for old gamesharks.

Regardless of which PSX you have you will always need either an internal mod or an external mod (the PSX boot disk is not for the same purpose as the DC boot disk).

As far as your copies are concerned what software are you using? Try CDRWin or CDCLone (if your burner is 100% compatable).

Make an image and then burn, never record on the fly (cd to cd)
