Question Concerning Clone CD
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bl@de (19-04-2001 22:37): Better still one u have cdrwin throw that in the recycle bin and get clone cd www.elby.de this programme copies all protections and it also means U NEVER HAVE TO PATCH a game whereas if u use cdrwin u will need to patch ALL protected games. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ok -=- exactly what settings do you need to do this ? -=- i have a yamaha 2100E burner and am using Version 3.0.0.11 of CloneCD. i also have and use CDR-Win 3.8D, which works great w/ unpretected games ... but ... when i try to apply the patch ( for USA ) ... and burn it ... it gets to the black PSX screen ... and does not show the logo. then ... it freezes. the games in question are : Grind Session and Wild Arms 2 well : thx in advance ( and will having the sub code enabled screw it up ? ) ¤ qs ¤ |
... ok < my heads really f--ked up now >
i was browse-ing some past topics and have come to find that these are the best settings for copying a PSX cd for back up purposes .... READING THE PSX GAME Reading subchannel data from data tracks : ON Reading subchannel data from Audio tracks: ON Fast error skip: OFF Dont report read errors: OFF Intellegent bad sector scan: OFF WRITING THE PSX GAME All off except dont repair subchannel data and close disc ... now ; i have a PSX1 model 5501 w/ and internal 8 wire stealth 4 chip.... i've read that have-ing this chip bypasses the need for the patch. Does it ? Cause i have backed up Wild Arms 2 w/ subs ... burnt ... and no luck > =( ( same w/ grind session ) ... ( and cool boarders 2001 for that matter ) lastly : i have backed up PE2 reading sub channel and w/ fast error skip and bad sector scanner. It works through the load up .. but will not load the mission stage. Can i make a copy from it reading only the sub chan data .... and it will work ? well : if there are any psx copy gurus out there > h31p ! 7h4n|<s |
