I have a downloaded copy of cdrwin, and I didn't require serial number. What do you mean by a cracked programme.

you just have the demo version of the program.
it is not legal to crack a program but if you do it you just have the full version. so your able to burn faster than 1x.

If you downloaded a fully functional copy of cdrwin that didn't require a serial to unlock it from demo mode somebody cracked,{ripped} the program.Cdrwin is famous for burning coasters when you use bad serials and most of the pirated versions dont work correctly.
