with a Neo 2 mod chip do I need a game Genie
 

Greetings,
If I put a Neo 2 mod chip in my NTSC PS2 do I need the Game Genie 2 as they refer on playstationmods.com or do the Patches I have been hearing so much about make the Game Genie unnecesary? I think I have a pretty good handle on the CD burning itself as I used to Backup PSX games... not to metion the abundant info on this board as well as gamecopyworld.
