DVD Region X
 

I need a copy of DVD Region X for my Jap PS2 so I can play my backed-up Australian games. Is it possible for someone to send me the image file or tell me where i can download it? I'm hoping then I can just burn it onto a cd and use it as a boot disc? Thanks

no, of course that won't work. it behaves exactly like any game disc as backup.. it won't boot unless you have a real, original, bootable disc to swap with.

Thanks for the reply Arakon and please forgive my ignorance, but will it still not work even if i use the utilities disc as a boot-up disc for the dvd region X?

that would be the real, original, bootable disc you need :P

So if I use the real, original, utilities disc as a boot-disc, can I then use a back-up copy of the DVD Region X after it as another boot-disc to play my games?
