I've heard U can turn PSX console into a dvd player? T/F?
 

I've heard something about getting something done or pluging something into the old PSX console which enables it to play DVD's. I thought it would be impossible. One of my friends down here in Australia recons he's going to get his done for around $80. Sounds like crap to me but can anyone give me more information

An old PSX reads cds not dvds.
The PS2 has a dvd reader in it.

there is an attachment for the old PSXs, internal and external, that allow them to play VCDs, but thats it.

what you are thinking about is a movie card which are around £35-£45 they plug in the back of your psx but they only play VCD NOT DVD

yes it can but not dvd's only vidio discs
