Can some one please tell me which patch is best to back up crash team racing i have tryed 2 patches all ready with no luck.

i got the patch off of psx copyworld and it worked
no problems try the adr patch or paradox they are
usually the best ppf paches pal 4 u are a pain
they dont always work.

The PDX patch works a treat for the PAL version but if your from the USA then your chances of getting a working backup are slim as many people have had no luck with the available NTSC patches.

You could try using Clonecd provided that your burner is supported and if it is you wont need to worry about the patch at all.

chears lads ,i tryed the paradox patch still no luck can you please tell me where i can get the adr patch boss .
ps it is the uk version

dont no but it has worked on all pc games i have backed up , but have only got one patch to work on the psx ,that was silent hill ntsc-pal

Ok, sounds like you may have a Philips based burner. Great for pc games but problems with psx+patches.
Try this :-

Use Cdrwin to create a bin file and patch it as usual.
Get a copy of Fireburner.
Run it and select "visual cue burner"
Drag the cue file you made with Cdrwin into the pane.
Right click and select "burn/test burn"
Select TAO (not DAO - this is important).
Burn your first ever copy of Crash Bash, CTR etc.

Please let me know if it works.

the game did not boot at all.

i have a phillips based burner (freecom) and had the same trouble. i did as Juri suggested and it worked no problem
