Simple question: CloneCd and psx1 games?
 

I have read almost every post but am still somewhat unclear:
I have clonecd and all the functions are supported with my burner, if I make an exact copy will I still need a modchip to play my backup?

There are more than enough posts stating - YOU STILL NEED A MOD CHIP!

yes.it does not copy the boot protection.
