sounds like you got a damaged source disc i copyed it with cdrwin without any problems

i actually have this problem with games now and again, first of clean the surface of the disk with a damp cloth, be gentle though bcoz material creates tiny scratches on the cd, which can soon build up if u r being too rough.

If you are using cdrwin, which is what i use, on the error recovery bit you have 3 options, 'abort', 'ignore' and 'replace'. If you are using ignore, switch it to 'replace' which will fill all the damaged areas with '0's. If all goes well it should produce a working copy of the game that is similar to the scratched version but will still work.

Some times it'll take a while before you can create an iso, its taken me over 5 attempts sometimes, but trust me, it'll give in eventually =p. But normally changing the error recovery option to 'replace' should solve your problem.

Hope thats of some used to you. L8er,
