Does anyone know anyone that repairs PS2's?? ...my CD rom is not spinning
 

Does anyone know any body that repairs PS2's? I had the mod chip installed and removed it due to it not working. The connections points were verified three times and they were all good and the chip still did not work. My PS2 stopped playing and I determinded that the CD rom is not spinning. It attempts to spin but stops at bootup. Of coarse it will be impossible to return it, so if anyone knows where I can get it repaired please let me know. When you installed the mod chip, you were also using the ActionReplay or Gameshark to boot the games. yes?
And now you have removed the modchip your original games, audio and dvd's no longer spin. yes?

Yes to both of these and youre in the shit.

If you were not using the AR2 to boot then there is nothing lost in trying to rechip and buying the AR2 cause it won't work without it.
