Help with US PS2 with modchip w/ GS2 V 1.0 and getting it to work.....
 

I thought that I might email you regarding some questions that I have. I have the USA PS2 with both the US mod chip and GS2 and I can't get it to work. I've tried all the methods of booting and I can't get them to work.

I have tried both patch programs;

1.) Paradox Universal PS2 CD Patcher - loser 2000

With this program I tried copying the game using Cdrwin ver3.8d using raw method to the hd. Then I tried applying this patch. Then I burned the game and try to boot using GS2 v1.0 cd and it doesn't work.

2.) I have also tried using the Napalm PS2 CD Patcher for AR2/GS2 v1.0 and it still doesn't work either.

Do you have any suggestions? Do I have to have the V 1.3 of the GS2 in order for it to work? Should I be using a different method of patching or copying??

you don't have to patch ps2 games.

it worked fine for me, no need to patch.
you must only patch import ps1 backups.

SSSSTTTTTOOOOOOPPPPPPPPP PATCHING THEM DISKS YOU DONT NEED TO..............JUST GET VER 1.3 AND ALL YOUR PROBLEMS WILL GO AWAY.........
