HELP!! cdclone on TEAC CD-W54E
 

I am Stuck with cdclone. My cd writer is on the list of usable writers(TEAC CD-W54E), on the condition that firmware is updated. I have firmware 7.1, and when I follow the link to the TEAC site it has an uprade to 1.1 or something. I am totally confused. why is my firmware version a higher number than the one on the TEAC site. Am i doing something stupid or has someone else come across this problem, or can someone help me out.

Also I have heard that Spyro3 can be copied with cdclone, what about Final Fantasy 9?

DUDE, I have the same burner, this is what ya do.
get cdrwin. Dont mess with any craks for it, just use the trial version, it works EXELLENT. I have made many psx copies and not one coaster, i use clone cd to copy my pc games and it is hit and miss. So if you e-mail me i will send you the instuctions on the proper setups to burn your psx games with cdrwin. What mod chip ya got?
