Final Fantasy 9 (pal/UK ver.)
 

ok, before i start,
i copy games ALL THE TIME, and i never had any problems copying games whatsoever, BUT final fantasy 9 is keeping me up at night because i cant copy the sucker, i tried easy cd creator, clone CD, Nero5, AND CdrWIN, without any succes. This amazes me since most games like parasite eve2 can be easily copied without a patch by using CLONECD.

i have also made images with CDRWIN and used the spanish *protection fix* patch on the images and i have then burned them on CD (i used ppf-O-matic), with no result, i get to see some lame commodore 64 animation (done by the crackers), and then the screen turns black and stays that way :(

is there a big difference between the spanish and the english(UK) version of ff9??
i think there is since ppf_O-matic said something about the image being different then the image it was meant to be used for, when i used the patch.
i used it anyway since there is no patch for UK version out yet, but it doesnt work :(

does anyone know if and WHEN a UK version *protection fix* patch will be released??

also if anyone has found a way to copy ff9(UK VERSION!!), plz send me an email in which u describe how you did it.

At the moment there is no protection fix for the UK PAL version of final fantasy 9. Try it with a german protection fix at http://bite.to/zyxalam. May be it will work with this one, if not you had to wait for a UK PAL version patch for ff9!!! I´ve the german version of ff9, and it works perfectly with the protection fix from http://bite.to/zyxalam!!!

well the link you put up there doesnt work, so ill look for that german patch u were talkin bout, ill post the results soon.

I await your results cos I've done everythin you've done includin the us patches and usin blindread but no luck, I didn't even get that commador thingy!!
