Need help with Crash Bash Patch

Installed the Crash Bash patch. The PPF application software said the Patch was successfully applied but when I inserted the game a yellow smiley face appeared on the screen with a question below it "is it 4:20 yet?". What is the deal?

The patch is bogus, it doesn't work.

I need the NTSC patch. Several posts down people claimed to have it working. Is there a different patch available other than the one at MegaGames?
