Why wont my back ups work after patching
 

I can copy any protected cd without problems but when the psx game requires patching it wont play, all i get is the patchers info then before the game loads it hangs up.
i use cdrwin 38b philips cdrw 400series and i apply patches with ppf omatic v2 (win)
please please help ta much.

think you have a new burner.the phillips burner have no totaly writer controls, and thats the reasen why your backups dosent work.
(sub chanel enable)
i've got the same probs with pcrw804.but always when a game was patched.
my old phillips burner has no broblems (scsi CDD3600)

I had the same problem with an 8 speed philips PCRW804

Got an 8 speed LG now works a treat.

I have a Philips pca382rw and i have the same problem.well it also happens with some waitec models and that's an hardware problem.There's nothing we can do i suppose.

Cheers peps thanx for that it's still strange why it will back up non protected psx but not psx that req patching.
