Errors with read on CDRwin 38d
 

When copying a game with CDRwin, I get to about 45% on the read and it starts to read errors, and it does not get any further. How can I get around this, is it the game or has anybody else had this.

Mail me and let me know what settings your using, also let me know if it is a trial version or a fully operational version.
What game are you doing?
Is it pal or ntsc?
Has the game got any scratches?
Give me all info!!! ;D

that as happened to me before also. i think its because the disc may be scratched.

The trouble with most software is that as soon as they hit a scratch (bad sector) they drop out.

Try using Blindread/write it wont bomb out it just keeps nibbling away until the job is done obviously this may take a while, you can also create a bin/cue image so you can burn with CDRwin.

D-Dump also works well with scratched disks.
