TOCA WTC patch doesn't work!!
 

Ok. I'm still new to this patching business.
Actually its my first attempt at patching a game. I've tried patching TOCA WTC with the patches available on Console Backup World. But they just won't work!!! When i load the disc i get absolutely nothing. I've followed the instructions step by step. I've wasted 3 discs already!! Can someone tell me whats going on? Is it me or the patches just don't work?

the patches do work, or rather one of them does! One will give you a replay thet you didnt do ( crashing into barriers all the time) but the other is fine. unfortunately i cant remember witch one is the good one! the problem i had was my cd writer. i burned it on my new writer and it would not work at all so i tried it on my old writer and it worked straight away. it may be your cd writer. it seems to be a sensitive game to copy. i had success using a philips 3610. hope this helps you

I to had the same problem,it would go to the copywrite screen and just hang there.I tried getting the patch from different sites but still no go.i made 6 coasters and then gave up.I dont know if its my burner or not but i have big troubles when trying to make a backup of protected games.let me know if you have some luck.

i made 6 coasters as well and many more others until a fren told me some PS games were protected. I was prolly the last to know abt that =(.
Anyways i gave up and bought myself a writer and reader that are 100% compatible with CloneCD.
