what the !@#$%.. how can i avoid this? i've tried adding a switch to my mod chip to turn it off while loading. but no luck.. it has happened on coolboarders 2001, nfl gameday 2001 and nhl gameday 2001.. any help would be great..

i've run into this on coolboarders 2001 and disneys emporors new groove. the only way i found around it is with action replay or gameshark for playstation. you can get the enable codes for them from www.cmgsccc.com.

The game needs to be patched.depending on your game,patches are easy to find and easy to use.I use ppf-o-matic you can find it under patch engines on the front page of gamecopyworld. Hope this helps!

Isn't there a new switch mod chip, you link it up to your existing mod chip and actually turns the chip on and off!! try www.astalavista.com

Hey u guys all you have to do is patch those games, and for those of u that say that the patch for NFLGAMEDAY2K1 doesn't work ur wrong cause it does work. The thing with that is that you have to Download all three of the files, and then ZIP them with WinRAR once you've done that then open the ziped WinRAR files and double click on them there you'll see a PPFfile, now extract it to a folder of your choice and shazam patch Gameday2k1.The only thing with that is that when you try to patch it it might say filezize don't match , then just patch it anyways cause that's what happened to me and, my game worked just fine , no more ""SOFTWARE TERMINATED CONSOLE MAY HAVE BEEN MODIFIED"" :) I'M NOT A PROFESSIONAL I JUST SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE!:) ({;<} burnomatic

If you install a dpdt switch to disconnect pins 5 & 6 it will disable the chip. The console will work normally. This works on mine it might on yours!
