Soul Reaver torture
 

Hi, I'm trying to copy Soul Reaver Legacy of Kain and i have used cdrwin and applied paradox's self executing patch. However when I burn the game it stalls on the startup screen which reads

"Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
by Silicon Knights

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver
by Crystal Dynamics"

Has anyone experienced this problem? if so can you give a guy a hand and tell me how to fix it.

I have used the same patch from paradox and it works fine for me - did the patch install itself properly and if so you may have a dodgy disc or it may have been recorded incorrecty - try copying it again this time lower the recording and burning speed to around x2 that ussually works for me

i had the same trouble with it coasting at that screen wasted about 6 cdrs trying to crack it with no luck.have you managed to copy any other protected games if not its probably that youre writer can,t handle protection patches mine doesn,t though it seems to work for ntsc/pal patches.my advice try a couple of other protected games if you have no luck forget it and don.t waste your cdrs.

cheers for the input sinbad, I'm illiminating the cd writer tonight as i am testing the copy on a clone cd supported Plextor. if it copies properly on it then it must be my cd writer, ill keep u posted.
