how do i make this work with copied games then? i boot from the shark put the codes in then put the game in. it loads the system file thingy but just hangs on teh bootup file - how come?

is the game you are trying to play patched?

yeah the games are patched (resident evil 3 for example) is this the reason? if so is there any way round it?

well i patched 'nfl gameday 2001' for mod detection, but i cant use gameshark cheat codes on it. but there is a mod detection gameshark code.. if you can live with having to enter the code, then #### the patch.

pretty much its like this

patch = no gs cheat codes

no patch = have to use code to get around mod detection, but you get cheats.

by the way is the resident evil 3 patch for ntsc/pal or mod detection?
