PS2 boot cd
 

Does anybody know what site i can download it from or is it just another hoax

Well I have the image on my HD right now, but I'm trying to find the password to extract it so I can burn the bastard thing

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.... If anyone knows the password for this file or if anyone knows how to override WinRAR passwords, then please E-mail me and then I can burn my own copy, test it, and then put out a non-passworded image so that everyone can burn it in peace and harmony forever....well almost LOL

But if anyone can help me, please do, if I can get it working, they will be the first to know

Hay Shooman, why don't you help us out by telling us what we need instead of being hypocritical to us less fortunate who don't know everything about this stuff.

I tried to get the password but I couldn't get it. I followed the instructions I got from the wordpad file that was included in the ps2boot cd file, but it led to nowhere.. Is there someone who can crack winrar passwords outthere ?

A few things:
*At least 6 CDR's to try to burn this 'PS2 BootCD' (that'll be the amount in which you'll stop at once you start getting sick of burning coasters...)
A Virus checker. God knows what these 'funny' guys stick in the zips of any sucker who'll download a s'posed 'PS2BootCD'.
The Ability to Read and Search. If you've read PSXcopyworld's article on PSX copy protection (or any valid arcticle of PSX/PS2 copy protection), you'll see a PS2BootCD is nigh near impossible with current home burners....

there is NO PS2 boot cd, if and when there is, it will be so widespread on the Net that you wont need a password or anything to unzip it

I can tell you there is one and I have it on my HD. My friend's cracking the password and when I have it, I'll be enojoying my imports and PS2 backups while you are stilling living in denial. This shit is happening for real !!!

the ps2boot cd is a fake (i got the image, too WITHOUT a password). If it's from INTERGANG -> throw it down the cellar.

It simply CAN'T work, 'cause the copy protection used by the PS2 is not like the one used by the DC.

THERE IS NO WAY to get a copy working without a mod chip, cause you have to skip two protections:

1. the language code
2. the unreadable sectors check which NO PC burner can read and
burn, even clonecd or stuff like that

The image you got, may be the UTILITY disc delivered with all the jap PS2 (it won't help you, too, 'cause even the UTILITY CD is protected so far :-)

Guys, stay cool, the MODchip is on it's way, some more weeks won't matter, cause there ain't much good prgs (ssx rulez!) worth copying.
