CoolMan 17-12-2000 22:47

yes i do have a mod chip in my psx, the game is brunswick circuit pro bowling 2

Sorry, but had to ask the obvious.
I think you regestered with a bad key.

how far does it get before it stops working

loffler 18-12-2000 10:41

You'll never know if you registered with a bad key. All you can do is reinstall and try a different keymaker. What version are you using?

Pete 18-12-2000 17:56

Sorry, I could've been a bit premature to suggest an incorrect key, but at the time it did seem to me that was the problem.
1. Did you burn at 1x. Default demo?
2. Have you had any other successful burns?
3. Have you tried to play any copied games via your console?

Could be just a faulty chip!!

CoolMan 18-12-2000 18:45

tug: it gets hardly anywhere, it just comes up with the playstation logo and just freezes and thats it!

pete:yes i do burn it at 1x speed, and i have loads of copied games so theres nothing wrong with the chip!! this is the first game i have burnt myself coz i havent had my burner too long, maybe im doing it wrong somewhere, but i followed the instructions, i dunno maybe im just thick!

CoolMan 18-12-2000 18:49

i am using version 3.8B of CDRWIN and PPF-O-MATIC v2.0

BOT 19-12-2000 02:19

And OF COURSE registered with a bad key!
THIS HAS BEEN ANSWERED ENOUGH TIMES!

tug 19-12-2000 02:58

well its not protected so it cant be that

it might well be your cdr's arent very good

i have instructions on burning on my site with pictures to follow just in case you want to try again. if u do though try a different cdr brand
